Manaslu trek is yet another off beaten trek that takes you to the untouched region of the Nepal. Un till 1991 the region was restricted for the outsiders for trekking. Manaslu trek can also be called as wilderness trek and is an idyllic trek for the wilderness lovers and naturalist. The region falls on the controlled trekking route which needs a special trekking permit to gain entry in organized group trekking. Manaslu region is rich in cultural and natural diversities with beautiful scenery and lush vegetation high altitude frozen glacier lakes and fascinating flora and fauna. Manaslu region trek offers spectacular mountain scenery of the towering peaks of the region like Naike peak, Manaslu north (7774 meters) and Manaslu (8150 meters), Himlung Himal (7126meter), Cheo Himal (6820meters), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6981meters) and the Annapurna II (7937meters).
Manaslu Region Trek starts from Arughat (640meters) after driving for 5 hrs from Kathmandu to Arughat. From Aarughat you start trekking through the villages and farmlands, Pristine forests and lush vegetation, rivers and glacial lakes. En route you will cross the high pass of Larkya La (5215meters) which is the highest access point of this trek. From the top of the pass one can have the spectacular and close up Mountain View of the Himlung Himal (7126meter), Cheo Himal (6820meters), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6981meters) and the Annapurna II (7937meters). This trek takes very close to the Tibetan border and introduces you with the Tibetan culture and lifestyle.
Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Today we spend half day for trip arrangements and Half Day Guided Kathmandu valley Sightseeing Overnight at hotel.
Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (640meters) travelling for about 5 hours. Overnight at Tented Camp.
Trek from Arughat to Soti Khola (775meters) walking for about 6 hours.
Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (900meters) walking for about 5.30 hours.
Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1340meters) walking for about 6 hours.
Trek from Jagat to Ngyak (2310meters) walking for about 6 hours.
Trek from Ngyak to Ghap (2100meters) walking for about 6 hours.
Trek from Ghap to Lho (3200meters) walking for about 6 hours. Naike peak, Manaslu north (7774 meters) and Manaslu (8150 meters) are visible from here.
Trek from Lho to Samagompa (3500meters) walking for about 6 hours.
Trek from Samagompa to Stone Hut (4500meters) walking for about 5 hours.
Spend a day as Acclimatization and exploration day.
Cross Larkya La (5215meters) and trek Bhimphedi (3590meters) walking for about 8 hours. From the top of Larkya La pass you will get to view the most spectacular mountain view of the Himlung Himal (7126meter), Cheo Himal (6820meters), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6981meters) and the Annapurna II (7937meters).
Trek from Bhimphedi to Tilje (3900meters) walking for about 5 hours. Tented Camp.
Trek from Tilje to Tal (1725meters) walking for about 5 hours.
Trek From Tal to Jagat (1300meters) walking for about 5 hours.
Trek back from Jagat to Baundanda (1275meters) walking for about 5 hours.
Trek from Bahundanda to Beshisahar walking for about 5 hours.
Drive back to Kathmandu by bus. It will take about 7 hours of continuous drive.
Free day for shopping and leisure.
Farewell and transfer to airport for flight back to destination country.
